The idea of self-care is simple - to love and take care of oneself - but it is a practice. And like all practices and habits, it takes time and commitment to infuse into your daily life. Solera's workshops are designed to be two-hour mini retreats that provide a group coaching experience to people at all stages of life. Topics include the transformative power of self-care, managing your energy, saying “no” and asking for help.

The workshops provide the opportunity to connect, relate and learn from others, plus give you the time and space to connect with yourself through soul-searching journaling exercises.  The goal of the workshop is to have you leave feeling renewed and motivated to use the self-care techniques to cultivate your own practice at home.

Ready to try some new self-care ideas? Sign up for a workshop today! All workshops are held inside private rooms to minimize distractions, and participation is limited to keep the groups intimate. Supplies are provided at the workshops, but you are welcome to bring a journal to take notes if you wish.  


Self-Care and Puppy Snuggles

Our typical workshop with guest puppy, Olive! Feel your stress melt away as Olive hugs and snuggles with you during our workshop. She has plenty of love and affection to go around!

Request-only basis

You bring the people together and I'll bring the zen! These workshops are great for schools, work, church groups, mom groups, and even girls nights in (just add wine!). You bring a group of 4 or more people together, and I'll take care of the rest including finding a location if needed.

Join me and Angela Kittock of Moondance Wellness Coaching for this two-hour event that will provide you the space and support to cultivate your self-care practice and then allow you to fully immerse yourself in a unique self-care experience! 

During this event, we'll discuss the benefits of self-care, share personal stories, and spend time reflecting on how we can best manage our precious but limited energy. It is an abbreviated version of the Personal Renewal Workshop. Afterwards, we'll put our principles into practice by slowing down, breathing deeply and relaxing with a beautiful and traditional Chinese Gongfu Tea Ceremony. Event is limited to 10 participants and advance reservation is required.

Personal Renewal Groups (PRGs) meet once a month and are intended for small circles of women to come together and share in the self-care journey. Nurturing, supportive and empowering, the PRGs offer monthly themes, inspirational stories, and soul-searching exercises focused on enhancing balance and emotional well-being in womens’ lives. This international program designed by Renee Trudeau is based on her award-winning book, The Mother’s Guide to Self-Renewal: How to Reclaim, Rejuvenate and Re-Balance Your Life. While the title of the book may be geared toward mothers, the content applies to mothers and non-mothers alike. You do not need to be a mom to apply the tools and gain value from this course. Women at all life stages are invited to participate in the program and share in the journey. 


At the present time, I'm facilitating PRGs on a request-only basis. You bring a group of 4 or more people together, and I'll take care of the rest including finding a location if needed. You need to commit to six days, preferably monthly, but a different time cadence works fine too (e.g., every 2 weeks or every 2 months). I absolutely love facilitating these groups because the transformation that takes place from month to month is inspirational and so fulfilling to watch. The best way to form positive habits is small, sustainable changes and a group of like-minded people to hold you accountable!
